For over 40 years the Center for Hope & Safety (formerly Mid-Valley Women’s Crisis Service) has strived to provide a safe environment for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and human trafficking and to educate the public about the issues surrounding victimization. We provide 24 hour advocacy, safety planning, and shelter screening every day of the week through our hotline: 503-399-7722.
The Center for Hope & Safety, 605 Center St. is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. Individuals can meet one-on-one with staff advocates to get support, safety plan, and get connected to other local resources.
If you are a survivor we can offer emotional support, resources, and safe and confidential shelter.
If you have a friend, family member, or co-worker who is with an abusive partner, we can talk with you about how to best support them and we can be a support to you as well.
If you are a community partner we are happy to share our knowledge of the dynamics of domestic and sexual violence and what you can do help to create a community that supports survivors and does not tolerate abuse.
