Volunteer

Volunteers are at the heart of the Center for Hope & Safety. They are an integral part of our agency by allowing us to provide 24-hour services to survivors. Interested in making a real difference for our community? With individual and group volunteer opportunities, there are plenty of ways to help.

Join our Monthly Volunteer Orientation

Internships

Doing an internship is a great way to invest in your future. CHS’ internships are unique in that you are given the opportunity to work directly with survivors just like our staff and volunteer advocates. All interns must complete our advocate training before they can start their internship.

Support Volunteering

Office volunteers help our program with important duties like helping in our donation center, HOPE Builder Boutique and special projects. If you’re interested in giving back in other ways besides advocacy, becoming an office volunteer may be right for you. Training is hosted once a month.
