Confidential advocates are available 24/7 at 503-399-7722.
Since 1973, the Center for Hope & Safety has strived to provide a safe environment for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and human trafficking and to educate the public about the issues surrounding victimization. We provide 24-hour advocacy, safety planning, and emergency shelter every day of the week through our hotline: 503-399-7722
The Advocacy Office (605 Center St NE, Salem, OR 97301) is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. Individuals can meet one-on-one with staff advocates to get support, safety plan, and get connected to other local resources.
If you are a survivor, we can offer emotional support, safety planning, emergency shelter, housing support, and much more.
If you have a friend, family member, or co-worker who is with an abusive partner, we can talk with you about how to best support them and we can be a support to you as well.
If you are a community partner, we are happy to share our knowledge of the dynamics of domestic and sexual violence and what you can do to help create a community that supports survivors and does not tolerate abuse.
